Sharknado

Sci-fi movies always have an unreal theory, but this one is very out of there. Water spouts are known for picking up fish and other things, but huge great white is something else. Apart from the horrible effects and terrible acting, there isn't really a plot. All this movie is unreal looking sharks, the motive to kill as many sharks as possible, and keep all the people they can alive. Even though this movie is so horrible, there are aspects of it that make it a good film.

One simple reason being that this movie was funny as heck to watch. With all of the bad effects, horrible acting, and dumb dialogue combined, the movie was so funny. This low budget film was amazingly funny, it's no wonder it made so much money. Who doesn't love a comedy? It's even funnier that it was made to be horrible. From all of the bad acting to the so fake it's funny looking sharks and gore this movie was downright hilarious. It's so easy to give a bad review on this, but I highly doubt a review could be made without mentioning how horribly funny this movie is.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I would definitely watch this movie if I was feeling crappy. This movie could make me laugh so easily with the ridiculous story line that was made to be terrible. I can't help but love this film.

  1. Wait...the "water spouts" pick up thousands of sharks (and only sharks, btw, no other marine life)...are you saying this is improbable?? jk. I'd liked to have seen you break down some scenes, in this film and others, and show why they are good/bad using the vocabulary and viewing eye that we've developed this semester.
